Professor (W2) Automation Technology and Mechatronics

You have completed an academic degree and a doctorate in the field of automation technology, mechatronics, electrical engineering or in related fields of study with above-average performance. You have at least five years of professional experience - of which you worked at least three years outside the university - in the application and/or development of industrial control and automation technology.* You have knowledge and experience in the development, application and commissioning of mechatronic systems in industrial practice . You have experience in the development of study programs and in the conceptual design of education and training courses. Your English skills enable you to teach courses in English . lt necessary, you are also willing to teach in German. You have pedagogical and didactic skills (ideally proven by teaching experience at universities) and the ability to successfully convey the course contents to the students and enjoy passing on your knowledge. You have recognized research and publication activity in the field you are teaching and ideally experience in acquiring third-party funding. You are familiar with digital teaching and learning formats . You live in Gütersloh or the surrounding area or are inclined to move. You have a sound and business-fluent knowledge of German . Building (international) networks is something you enjoy.
