Torsional Vibration Solution Architect (m/f/d)
Development of anti-vibration products, specifically torsional vibration dampers Interaction with international OEMs and end customers: Understand customer demands and define technical interfaces Educate customers on Hasse & Wrede anti-vibration solutions Obtain customer feedback at an early development stage and align proposed solutions with customers Designing the architecture of torsional vibration solutions Analyze complex drivetrains (e.g. generator-sets, marine propulsion, motor-driven compressors) in terms of torsional vibrations via multi-body simulation Design torsional vibration mitigation concept to optimize overall system performance, including production- and cost-optimized hardware design (CAD, Creo 7) Validate the torsional vibration solution, including onsite measurements Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and international cross-functional teams
Degree in engineering or physics Three or more years of working experience in multi-body simulation or CAE Experience in the design of mechanical components with CAD (ideally Creo 7) High motivation to simulate, define, design and test products in the field of vibration technology Experience in building up and maintaining close business relationships with customers, including presentations of results and negotiations of technical boundary conditions in different project phases Business level of German and English (verbal and written) Willingness to travel (~ 5 to 10 %) Positive attitude towards problem solving within a team environment High degree of personal responsibility, motivation, and strategic thinking High level of self-organization, combined with hands-on mentality Additional desired qualifications: Experience with FMEA process Experience with Finite Element Analysis Experience with Measurement Hardware and Software Familiar with manufacturing processes for metal casting, forging, and precision machining Familiar with problem-solving strategies (e.g. 8D, DOE, Six Sigma) Familiar with product lifecycle management with Teamcenter or similar PLM / PDM system
